Could this be for me?
Your questions, answered.
Do I need to want to teach?
No. You’re welcome whether you’re interested in teaching or want to deepen your understanding and practice of yoga. Everyone develops both pillars and graduates prepared to teach. You decide whether to pursue teaching opportunities afterward.
Do I have enough yoga experience?
Yoga practitioners at different stages of advancement can participate. You do not need to be an advanced practitioner to join. If you’re unsure about your readiness, complete the interest form and Lisa Longo will help you explore whether the program is a good fit.
Must I be able to do advanced poses?
No. The ability to perform advanced poses is not required. The training helps you deepen your understanding and practice while developing the skills to guide others.
What happens if I miss a weekend?
Lisa Longo will work with you to find a way to make up missed work and/or training time. Let her know about a scheduling conflict so you can discuss arrangements together.
Will I be eligible for Yoga Alliance registration?
PeaceCore is a registered yoga school. After successfully completing the 200-hour training and receiving your certificate, you can apply separately to Yoga Alliance for the RYT 200 (Registered Yoga Teacher) credential. Registration is a separate step and is not automatic when you receive your PeaceCore certificate.
Your practice brought you here.
Where could it take you next?
Confident in your knowledge. Supported in your growth. Connected to your community. Prepared to teach.
